House at Jalan Leban

Singapore

A concept that allows the house to be fully natural ventilated with extensive provisions for cross ventilation via spatial planning and tall fenestration. The basic and raw feel of the project was inspired by the concept to create a very natural environment with the use of recycled materials. Timber salvaged from the previous house formed a large part of the building features and instil a sense of architectural continuity with the historical context.
